Like a Roach to Nasty Leftovers...
I can't help reading the LCP every now and again...oh, that's a lie...almost every day. What is going on over there still? They just can't get enough of me still. I saw that yesterday, my name came up in story chat again! Crazy!
When the controversy surrounding reading The Freedom Writers Diary was going on, I felt as though every time I mentioned it, I was giving a disclaimer when I spoke. So, a group of students made me my own "asterisks" in order to hold up when I talked. (which is when I finally learned how to spell it correctly too).
I believe we have now come to a point of understanding where my students know me well enough that asterisks are no longer needed.

My mom got an editorial published and it looks like people were all up in arms over it. i havent had the chance to read the comments though.
I know I read it, but I don't remember there being comments. I will have to go back and look.
